Apollo Municipal Theatre. The Apollon Theatre is situated behind the Town Hall in Hermoupolis. It was built in 1861 to the design of the French architect Chabeau and its outward appearance presents a small-scale copy of the Scala of Milan.
Church of the Christ's Transfiguration (Metamorphosis): Visit the church of Hermoupolis with its excellent woodcarvings and icons.
Temple of Agios Nicolaos: that is the third largest church of Greece.
Village of Posidonia: that was named after the second greatest town of the island of Posidonia, which is also named Della Grazia after the small church of Virgin Mary (Madonna Della Grazia).
Old city of Ano Syros: founded in the 13th century. Ano Syros translates in English as 'Upper Syros' and its walls, narrow lanes and arches, has kept much of its medieval character. The steep streets and countless steps lend the town the charm of a bygone age.
