A traditional, family-run property offering the warmest of welcomes, the Taxiarchis Apartments offer clean, spacious, light, comfortable rooms in a quiet part of Symi, within walking distance of Pedi Bay and the centre of the village of Chorio.
Each spacious room has a sofa, TV and kitchenette with a fridge including a small freezer compartment, kettle, cooking hob and utensils, and a furnished balcony or terrace which overlook the bay or the gardens, as well as Wi-Fi access. Air-conditioning upon request.
A home-made breakfast (upon request and payable locally) can be taken on the sun terrace with views down to the stunning bay, where the Aegean glistens. The apartments are surrounded by greenery, tropical flora, historical ruins and mountain scenery, all to be enjoyed throughout the duration of your stay.
The village has excellent cafes and restaurants, a supermarket, bakery and patisserie, and fruit and vegetable shops. The hotel is in a steep location but there is a good bus service available for guests who prefer not to walk.
The apartments also have a small library and a quaint courtyard with tables and chairs - a lovely space to sit and read as you soak in the sun and enjoy superb, panoramic views on your Greek island holiday.
The Taxiarchis Apartments are located in the centre of the Symi village. The Port is approximately a 20 minute walk away. You will find the Pedi Beach is a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride from the village and has glistening waters, popular for snorkelling, glorious scenery and natural shade from Tamarisk trees. Whilst you are visiting the beach, why not take some time to enjoy the delicacies the ocean has to offer, by visiting a local seafood restaurant.
