Set in quiet Pefkos village, but within easy reach of the tourist spots of Lindos, the Lindia Thalassa offers the flexibility of self-catering with an option of hotel dining. As well as apartments with kitchenettes, the resort has its own supermarket with English, as well as Greek products, and ready-made packs of essentials to make shopping easier.
The resort has a large pool with a bar serving an impressive snack menu during the day and evening drinks and cocktails, plus live entertainment in the evenings. Children have their own pool access to the Blue Flag beach of golden sand.
The 90 rooms – double, triple and family apartments – are spread over five blocks, in a bright blue-and-white colour scheme, and have a balcony or terrace, satellite TV, bathroom and free wifi. The larger suites have two bedrooms.
While the children are enjoying activities in the Pefki Pirates kids’ club, with a playground and indoor games, there’s a chance for grown-ups to luxuriate in the Zen Island spa – there’s a Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and individual and couples massages, as well as a hair and nail salon. Qualified therapists and smooth music complete rejuvenating experience.
The Elia Restaurant Buffet combines modern Greek dining with twists of international cuisine and there’s regular evening entertainment, including a Greek themed night and dancing.
